6 years of loving you, my business made from scratch— one of my many random ✨business ideas✨
I started this business with a partner in 2019 but after 3 years I took it over as a sole proprietorship and rebranded the business with a new logo and mission, taking it to the next level.
During the 3 years of sole proprietorship, I have networked and gained so many new business relationships, friendships, clients… I am beyond blessed with how far it’s come.

Cleaning luxury homes, luxury air BNBs, commercial buildings; offering deep cleans for Family & Children’s Services Niagara to raise money for children in care, winning awards, and being in rooms with people I never thought I would have the opportunity to meet.
I have had so many opportunities with this *tiny* business that I am SO proud of.
I never thought I’d be capable of running a business, but I can’t picture my life any other way.

Blessed to be alive is an understatement. Little Katie would be so proud. 😭💎🥲✨❤️

For the month of November & December leading up to Christmas (mid Dec), Maid 2 Shine Cleaning Services will be accepting both cash/e-transfer donations, as well as gifts for Family and Child Services ‘adopt a youth’ program. Any donations over $25, item donations also count just keep your receipt , we can provide a receipt for taxes as well! 🙂

We are looking for
• household items (towels, cloths, bed sheets, laundry baskets, blankets, pillows, etc);

• kitchen items (pots, pans, baking sheets, small appliances-toaster, blender, mixer- utensils, dinnerware, plastic wrap, baggies, tin foil);

• cleaning supplies (mop, dish soap, laundry soap, recycling bins, garbage can, broom and dustpan);

• personal care items (deodorant, hairbrush, hangers, paper towel, toilet paper, Kleenex);

• new clothing of any size (we will get it to someone that needs it!)- socks, mitts, sweaters, Pajamas ;

• ’goodies’ / positive words & cards for the youth.

Everyone that donated will be recognized in some way while we donate 🙂 we’re in this as a team! We appreciate anything you can give!

Last year, 82 youth were given gifts of all kinds across the Niagara region during the holidays. Let’s see how many we can do this year with your help! 🥰💜💙❤️💛🧡

Maid 2 Shine is nominated for 2024 Grimsby business excellence award- “InnovateHER”

This award recognizes the achievements and contributions of women leaders in our community. This award will be given to a woman-led business that has demonstrated innovation, determination, and commitment to community. The successful nominee exhibits a strong commitment to supporting and empowering other women leaders in their pursuit of excellence in Grimsby’s business community.

I am beyond surprised, and THANKFUL for this nomination! 🥰🥲

Family and Children’s Services Niagara raised $90,023 to send children in Niagara this year! Absolutely INSANE!
Our BBQ fundraiser personally raised $2000 towards this goal. We couldn’t have done it without the support of every single person/business that donated items for the raffle, made items for the bake sale, volunteered, etc.
A huge shoutout goes to Zehrs for taking care of our whole BBQ & donating the rest of the LemonAID. 😂 (we would have been out in the first hour, but Larry the store manager donated a PC brand lemonade that people also enjoyed and kept us open for the rest of the day!)

Also a shout out to Anchor Niagara who donated our ‘grand prize’ baskets- over $500 worth of items!

We had an absolute blast doing this! Can’t wait to do it next year. 🥰☀️
