🎉 SOLD OUT - AGAIN! 🇨🇦🐴

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our additional Sunday performance of the RCMP Musical Ride is now SOLD OUT!

The response from our community to the Musical Ride has been incredible, and we can’t thank you enough for your enthusiasm and support.

A VERY special thank you to the RCMP Musical Ride for so generously offering to put on an additional performance for us in response to the overwhelming demand. We are incredibly grateful to the riders, staff and everyone involved for helping us give even more members of our community the opportunity to experience this iconic Canadian tradition.

Three sold-out shows in one weekend… ❤️🇨🇦🐴

At this point, we’re wondering: do you think we could convince them to just stay in residence at the Saanich Fairgrounds? You know… like the Vegas shows. 😉😂

We really appreciated everyone’s patience and cooperation as we parked cars and exited on Friday. We are doing our very best as a volunteer crew to get you in and home again as efficiently as possible. We really thank you all for being kind to each other and our team to keep the traffic flow moving and safe for all. 🙏

🎉 WE HEARD YOU... AND THEY DID TOO! 🎉

Due to the overwhelming response from our community, the RCMP Musical Ride has very generously offered to present a THIRD performance at the Saanich Fairgrounds!

If you missed out on getting tickets for the first two shows, here's your chance to experience one of Canada's most iconic equestrian performances.

🐴 Pre-Show 5:45 PM – Systematic Warmup of the RCMP Horses

Food trucks will be on-site so come hungry!

The precision, pageantry, and incredible partnership between horse and rider make this a truly unforgettable experience for all ages.

🐴 Great news for exhibitors! 🐴

We've added 13 NEW classes to the 2026 Saanich Fair Light Horse Show, creating even more opportunities for riders to step into the ring!

Whether you're entering your very first show or you're an experienced competitor, you'll find exciting new options - including beginner-friendly Walk/Trot classes, Road Hack, Hunter Under Saddle, Ranch Rail, Ranch Riding and Trail Horse classes.

We're also pleased to welcome Judge Jim Cunningham for what promises to be an outstanding weekend of competition.

We are excited about the upcoming Outdoor Movie Night at the Saanich Fairgrounds put on by Saanichton Village Association! Hope to see a lot of you there for this really fun community get together with musical entertainment, food, and of course the amazing Outdoor Movie! It takes a whole lot of folks volunteering their time to put this on for our community and we want to give a huge thanks to all of you who have volunteered and worked hard over the past year to bring this special summer night gathering to our community. ❤️

Community Partner Spotlight:

A huge thank you to our amazing community partner, the Saanich Fair Fairground for once again opening their gates to host our Outdoor Movie Night! 🎬✨

We feel incredibly fortunate to have access to such a beautiful community space. With plenty of parking, wide open green space, and room for hundreds of families to gather, it’s the perfect place to bring our community together for a fun summer evening.

Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without partners like the Saanich Fairgrounds, who continue to support local organizations and community events.

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone on Saturday, August 15 for an unforgettable night under the stars. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate this incredible community asset that makes so many special memories possible.

🌟 Join Our Volunteer Team and Be Part of the 2026 Saanich Fair! 🌟

The Saanich Fair is one of Vancouver Island's longest-running community traditions, and it simply wouldn't happen without the incredible volunteers who generously give their time each year.

This year, we're looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help in a variety of roles, with most opportunities in our Exhibits and Kids Zone/Tiny Town.

Volunteer opportunities include:

🌸 Helping set up and take down exhibit displays
🌽Assisting in exhibit halls during the Fair
🎨 Supporting activities in the Kids Zone/Tiny Town
🐄 Helping in our Animal Departments
🎟️ And other Fair activities as needed

Whether you're helping visitors, working behind the scenes, or lending a hand with set-up or take-down, you'll be making a real difference while becoming part of a fun, welcoming team.

No experience is necessary - we'll help you get started! Whether you can volunteer for a few hours or several days, we'd love to have you join us. ❤️

🥞 NEW this year at the Saanich Fair! ☕️

We're very excited to introduce the Saanich Fair Pancake Breakfast - a delicious new way to kick off your Fair day!

A very special thank you to Country Grocer (Royal Oak), whose generous sponsorship is making this new event possible. Their support is providing the food and breakfast supplies needed to bring this community breakfast to life, and we're incredibly grateful for their commitment to the Saanich Fair and our community as the Founding Sponsor of our new Pancake Breakfast!

The breakfast will be prepared and served by the amazing volunteers from the Central Saanich Lions Club, with breakfast proceeds helping support the Lions Club's community service projects and charitable work throughout our community.
