🚬 Turn Cigarette Butts Into Support for Veterans 🇨🇦

Did you know your cigarette butts can be recycled instead of thrown away?

The Royal Canadian Legion Normandy Branch #34 in New Glasgow is collecting used cigarette butts through TerraCycle, with proceeds supporting the Poppy Fund for Veterans ❤️

Simply collect butts in a plastic bag or covered container and drop them off at the Legion during open hours. TerraCycle credits $1 per pound collected to the Poppy Fund.

A huge thank you to Pictou County Solid Waste for supporting this initiative ♻️

To our amazing clients and community ✨

We’ve been so lucky over the years to work with kind, honest people. We’ve never had to chase payments because our clients have always treated us with respect.

Unfortunately, after recently experiencing theft of services, we’ve had to make a small but important change to protect our business and our team.

Moving forward, all deep cleans will require a signed contract and full payment up front.

This isn’t something we ever wanted to do, and it’s honestly disappointing that one situation has led to this after so many great experiences.

To those of you who have supported us, trusted us with your spaces and been so wonderful to work with, thank you. We appreciate you more than you know 🤍

Our owner, receptionist, and lead cleaner are all a little tied up right now… turns out that’s all the same person (me 😅) and I’m on an unexpected hospital staycation at the moment.

All bookings are now made directly through our website at upandundercleaning.ca to keep scheduling simple and up to date.

We are no longer accepting bookings through Facebook messages.
