How a hot tub salt system actually works is simpler than most people think.
You only add salt once when you fill up. The system converts that salt into chlorine to sanitize the tub, then turns it right back into salt again.
Your regular maintenance is just adding a little pH Minus when needed and checking a test strip before you soak. If your chlorine reads low, you simply turn the generator output setting up.
