A little transparency post for my amazing clients 💙

I’ve had a few people assume that when they pay for a cleaning, I take home the full amount — and honestly, I get why it might seem that way! But in reality, there’s quite a bit that comes out of each job behind the scenes.

Here’s a rough example using a $120 cleaning:

🧾 Taxes (CRA)
Estimated set-aside: $20–$30
A portion of every job has to be saved for income tax — it adds up quickly.

🧽 Supplies & Equipment
Estimated cost per clean: $5–$15
Cleaning products, cloths, mop heads, vacuum upkeep, etc.

🚗 Travel Costs
Estimated: $5–$20
Fuel + wear & tear on the vehicle, especially for jobs outside of town.

🛡️ Insurance
Estimated per job: $2–$5
This is broken down from a monthly cost to protect both myself and my clients.

📊 Business Expenses
Estimated per job: $3–$10
Booking, communication, advertising, and general business upkeep.

⏱️ Time Beyond the Clean
(Not always calculated, but very real!)
Scheduling, messaging, planning, and admin work all take time outside of the actual clean.

Starting May 1st, updated pricing for services will take effect:

🧼 Residential Cleaning: $35/hour
🏢 Commercial Cleaning: $40/hour

✨ Extra Services (Add-Ons):
- Interior Window Cleaning: $4 per panel
- Blinds Cleaning: $10–$25 (depending on size & condition)
- Laundry: $15 per load
- Dishes: $10–$20
- Carpet Cleaning: $5–$15 per room/area
- Exterior Windows: Custom quote
- Plant Care Services: $10–$25
- Plant Shopping Service: Flat fee + cost of plants

These updates help ensure we continue providing high-quality, reliable service while covering rising costs.

We’ve got something BIG to celebrate this month…

On the 26th, Attridge Cleaning Co. officially turns 4 YEARS OLD!! 🧼✨

FOUR. YEARS. 🤯

What started as just an idea has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of.

And when we really thought about it… the numbers are kinda wild 👀

Over the past 4 years, we’ve:

🚽 Scrubbed 1,500+ toilets (yes… even the scary ones 😅)

🧺 Kept up with more laundry than we can count
🌱 Helped take care of plant babies along the way

That’s a LOT of cleaning!!

And the craziest part?
