We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Transportation Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy equipment to ensure safe and efficient transportation operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with Trucks, and excellent problem-solving skills. This position offers opportunities for growth in a dealership setting making it a great place to learn and excel with a great benefit package, and a family oriented feel.

Duties include but not limited too:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on truck and transport equipment, semis of all makes and models.
* Conduct inspections using schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues
* Execute welding, electrical repairs, and mechanical adjustments as needed
* Assist with assembly, disassembly, and installation of transportation-related equipment.
* Utilize heavy lifting techniques safely to move parts or equipment
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
* Ensure all equipment complies with safety standards and operational guidelines

Experience
* Dealership experience or background in truck and transport is highly desired
* Proven experience in repairing and maintaining truck and transport equipment
* Hands-on experience with welding, electrical systems, HVAC systems is preferred.
* Mechanical knowledge of schematics, assembly processes, and maintenance procedures
* Prior work involving power tools, hand tools, or heavy lifting required
* Experience working in a maintenance or mechanic role within truck and transportation
* Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance
* This position requires a motivated individual with a solid foundation in mechanical repair. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
