Big shout out to both DV Towing and FTI! ❤️

My 17-year-old decided his first big purchase needed to be a SCHOOL BUS 😂🤦‍♀️ and we needed to get it hauled about 120 km home.

I had been texting with both DV Towing and FTI trying to get things arranged and, long story short, I somehow managed to accidentally book BOTH of them. 🤦‍♀️😂

So yes… two tow trucks drove 120 km to pick up one school bus. That one is completely on me. 😂

DV Towing got the bus loaded up and safely hauled home for us, and we really appreciate them making the trip and getting Carter’s questionable financial decision home. 😂

I also really want to give FTI a shout out for how they handled my mistake. Obviously they still had a driver who had driven all that way and had fuel and time invested, so I fully expected to have to pay for that. They were incredibly understanding about the mix up and were kind enough not to charge me some crazy amount for my mistake.

Two local companies that were both great to deal with, even when I apparently have no business coordinating tow trucks. 😂

A little behind the scenes today. 💙

Today, my office is the Stollery as Brody receives his monthly infusion. Thankfully, Amber has everything covered in the shop while the rest of the Pristine team is out making homes sparkle.

I couldn’t do what I do without my incredible team and all of our amazing clients. Thank you for your continued support. It means more than you’ll ever know. ❤️

Mine drove 120 km to Lacombe and bought a SCHOOL BUS. 🤦‍♀️😂

The irony? This is the same kid who’s probably skipped more school than he’s actually attended, but apparently he’s committed to owning the transportation. 🚍🤣

Now we just have one tiny problem…

It doesn’t run. 😅

Does anyone know someone who can tow a full-size school bus from Lacombe to Drayton Valley without it costing more than the bus itself? Recommendations are greatly appreciated… because I honestly don’t know whether to laugh or cry at this point! 😂

Some days I’m just reminded how lucky I am.

Today, Autumn stopped by on her day off just to drop off homemade cookies, and then I received the sweetest surprise… a beautiful flower delivery from Amy. 🌸🍪

Amy is getting ready to start an exciting new chapter at university, yet she still took the time to think of us 🙂 And Autumn, who always goes above and beyond, spent part of her day off baking and delivering cookies.

I truly have the most incredible team. They aren’t just amazing employees… they’re thoughtful, kind, caring people, and I’m so grateful to have each of them as part of the Pristine family.
