Hi!! 👋🏻 I’ve had some new followers in the last few weeks and I figured I should maybe do an intro post! My name is Gayleen, middle name Dawn. Although, many people assume my name is Dawn because of my business name. However the truth is, I decided to go with Dawn’s Cleaning because my name is so unique most people don’t remember it (or know how to say it)🤣 Also, I felt that Dawn’s Cleaning rolled off the tongue better. I’m a Mama of 3 kids, a wife to my high school sweetheart, and a new-ish resident to Drayton Valley! 2.5 years ago we moved here from BC and from the moment we got here, we felt like we were HOME! Dawn’s Cleaning is mostly a one-woman show. I am the founder, owner, scheduler, and main cleaner as well! I also do all of the social media side of it (although I’m very inconsistent with that) but with 3 kids in sports, as well all the other things that come with being a Mom, social media presence is low on my priority list! Here’s some random facts about me:
1. I am almost completely deaf in my right ear - and recently got a hearing aid!
2. Most people that meet me assume I am in my late teens or early 20’s.. but I’m actually 35🫣 I am just short and have a young face - and rarely wear more than mascara.
3. One year ago I developed a love for jiu jitsu after watching my boys on the mats for over a year… so I decided to just go for it. I am absolutely hooked!!!

Thanks so much for being here! I truly appreciate every single one of my clients, and I am thankful for their flexibility in scheduling (I work around my husbands schedule!) and their trust in me!

Are you hosting a Christmas Party?

This holiday season I have decided to offer something a bit different! Pre- or post- party clean up (or both!)

What will this look like?

We will come to your home the morning of your planned event (OR the morning after) and do a “quick version” of a general clean. We will get your bathrooms and kitchen tidied up. Floors vacuumed and mopped, etc. this service will NOT include tubs/showers, inside ovens or microwaves.

There will be a minimum 2 hours needed for this service. Any homes 15km or more outside of Drayton will be required to pay for travel.

Reach out now and let us take care of the cleaning while you do the other prep!
