November is here, and while market season may be wrapped up for the year, the yarn fun certainly isn't! 🧶❤️

We're back in the studio, dreaming up colour combinations, dyeing more beautiful skeins, and getting ready for all those cozy projects that come with this time of year.

And with Small Business Saturday coming up on November 28, we have a little something planned to say THANK YOU to everyone who chooses to shop small.

Well… Knit City Fibre Festivals Calgary 2026, you were A LOT. 😂❤️

A massive thank you to Fiona, Amanda and Evi for organizing a show of this size and somehow bringing together SO many incredibly talented makers under one roof. That is no small feat, and you ladies absolutely crushed it!

Thank you to all the volunteers who kept the whole circus running, and to my fellow vendors who made the weekend even better. So many great conversations, so many laughs, and a ridiculous number of new vendor friendships made. Basically, I came home with less yarn space and more friends. Seems fair. 😂🧶

But the BIGGEST thank you goes to the gal on the right… Michelle Forsberg. ❤️

Not only is Michelle ridiculously fun to hang out with, she went above and beyond this weekend to help me and my family while we were navigating some pretty heavy family stuff.

There honestly aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am for everything Michelle and her family have done for us this weekend. They stepped up, showed up, and made a difficult weekend a whole lot easier.

I said it approximately 47 times this weekend, and I stand by it:

EVERYONE NEEDS A MICHELLE. ❤️❤️❤️

Knit City gave me yarn, new friends, sore feet and approximately energy left by tonight …. but most importantly, it reminded me once again just how incredible this fibre community is.

My heart is very, very full. ❤️

📦✨ It’s PACKING NIGHT! ✨📦

We’re packing up ALL the yarn, squishing approximately 100 skeins into bags that definitely looked bigger yesterday, and getting everything ready for load-in! 😂

Tomorrow we’ll be setting up our booth and getting all the Sassy goodness ready for the weekend. We’re already SO excited to see everyone! 🧶💕

🏔️ A LITTLE WEEKEND GETAWAY, ANYONE? 🧶

Sometimes you just need to step away from the everyday…

It starts with a quiet morning wrapped in Morning Mist. 🌫️

A warm Cinnamon Mocha in hand, because obviously. ☕️

Then it’s time to slow down, breathe deeply and take in the peaceful views of Quiet Waters. 💧

The day winds its way toward a cozy Mountain Retreat, where the air is crisp, the scenery is beautiful and there’s nowhere you need to be. 🏔️

And when the sun starts to set? That’s when Evening Rose makes an appearance. 🌹
