Hi Burnie! Just like that we’ve been open for six weeks, how time flies!

We’ve got one more week of our opening special on the washers before pricing goes to normal. If you’ve been enjoying these handy savings, come in and make the most of it! Or if you haven’t yet had the chance we hope you can drop in and take up the offer.

We’ve really enjoyed meeting so many of our great patrons to date and look forward to continuing this service in the community.

To our new wonderful customers,

Thank you so much for your patronage the last few weeks, the response to our small business has been amazing and we are very grateful.

After a lot of enquiries from steady users and small businesses, we are now offering loyalty cards for use in our facility. This will allow regular users to gain a discount for a bulk purchase, or businesses to be able to write off the expense of using the laundry basket.

Please get in touch with us via email or private message if you would like to purchase a card. We can invoice you for the card, program the amount you would like to add, then you can use the card whenever you like. The pre-paid cards are used the same as a debit or credit card to pay for use of a machine.

The discount for card amounts will be as follows:

$150 Loyalty Card gets you 10% off so comes in at $135

$300 loyalty card gets 15% off so $255

$400 loyalty card gets a whopping 20% off so can be purchased for $320

Cards can be dropped off to your business once purchased, or you can organise a time in-store to pick up. Please email [email protected] if you would like to enquire about a pre-paid card.

2 weeks in and all the kinks have been ironed out (pun intended). What a great response we’ve had and hopefully we can keep serving this great community.

NOW OPEN

The Burnie Laundry Basket is open and ready for all of your laundry needs

Opening hours are 7am - 9pm every day of the week

Our machines are brand new, huge and work a treat. Our biggest washer can handle 27kgs - big enough for a king size doona or 6 baskets of washing! Imagine how easy washing day can be when you bowl over all your washing in one cycle!

Every machine can take card payment or coins for your convenience, and we also have a change machine in store if you only have notes on you. There’s even a laundry detergent dispenser in case you forgot to bring your own.

The facility is fitted with CCTV cameras so your washing is safe with us if you need to duck out for other chores. If you’d like to stay, relax in our seating area and watch TV, or get your folding done on the big benches inside!

And to welcome our new customers, take advantage of our opening special! $5 cycles on every washing machine, from the 8kg size to the 27kg size. This special will only last for the first month of opening, so come in and try us out while it lasts!

To celebrate opening this week we have set all the washers to $5 flat for a full wash cycle!

That's every machine from the 9kg washer up to the huge 27kg washer!

Head up to 203 Mount St Upper Burnie and throw your week's washing in while you're at Woolies for just $5!

These machines can handle everything, even that king or queen size doona you've been meaning to wash for ages. Better yet, a cycle only takes 25 minutes for those of you that have places to be!

We can't wait to see you and hope you enjoy the new amenities we have to offer
