This little fella unfortunately seemed to have been clipped by some machinery or a car and seeked shelter on this property. It’s currently up at AZWH getting help!

Have you ever wondered why some people get non-venomous snakes relocated? READ THIS! 🐍

1- fears and phobias
2- pets and children
3- renovations
4- concerns about its wellbeing
5- selling the house

These are all completely valid reasons right? Although we try to educate as much as possible, if someone wants/needs a snake relocated, we aren’t going to say no. What happens if they decide to illegally do it themselves and they injure the snake or themself? What happens if we say no and then the snake either hurts their pets or their pets hurt the snake? What happens if they kill the snake instead?

There are a lot of ‘what if’s’ and we would just rather avoid them if possible!

Did you know that snake venom is currently being researched and trialed as a component of cancer treatment?! 🐍 ⛑️

Summer attended the Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea annual Cancer Council fundraising event held by Northlakes retirement community where her grandparents live!

She spoke about the benefits of particular snake venom within the healthcare industry, specifically cancer, and threw in a quick snake bite first aid demo on her Nanny!

Highly venomous snake under a CLASSROOM! 🐍 🏫

This Red Belly decided that the warm tin under this classroom was the perfect hiding spot, and we agree! The school just didn’t want to take any risks leaving it there so they decided to call us for some help!

As you can see, catching a venomous snake in a confined space is not always the easiest or safest!

This Coastal Carpet Python made itself super comfortable in the homeowners barbecue! They had small children around and felt more comfortable having the snake professionally relocated!

How do we examine highly venomous snakes?! 🐍

This was Summers first time tubing an Eastern Brown! This snake was suspected to be infected with a fungal disease, so it was important that Shelly got some samples of it for research before it got taken to the Wildlife Hospital later that day!

Did someone say… SNAKES ON A PLANE!! ✈️ 🐍

This is so incredibly crazy! The workers saw a Red-Bellied Black Snake slither up into the wheel compartment (correct me if I’m wrong with that terminology) in the plane!

This is a whole new level of snake catching lol!
