Dear Clients,
I wish to draw your attention to a matter of concern. In the current month, one-third of our scheduled cleaning sessions were unexpectedly cancelled by the client, causing a direct impact on my income. It is crucial to highlight that with adequate notice, we possess the capability to secure alternative bookings and replace the cancelled sessions promptly. Like any individual or business, my financial stability relies on a consistent income to meet essential expenses.
I'd like to bring to your recollection the provision outlined in the "17. Cancellation Fees" clause within our Service Agreement, which is shared alongside each Invoice or Estimate presented to our clients. According to this clause, clients are obligated to remit a cancellation fee equivalent to 2 hours of cleaning (inclusive of GST) to cover administrative costs and losses incurred. While we have refrained from invoking this clause in the past, the escalating number of cancellations is making it increasingly challenging for us to sustain this practice.
I appeal to your consideration regarding the profound impact that abrupt cancellations, lacking prior notice, have on both my income and livelihood. Your understanding and cooperation in this matter are immensely valued. I kindly request your mindfulness in the future to ensure a mutually beneficial arrangement for both parties.
