Introducing Clontarf.

The renovation started with the basics stripped back. The pool interior was strapped and relined, addressing what sat beneath years of wear.

Next came the surrounds. The existing sandstone had worn past the point of salvage, so it was replaced and retiled around the full perimeter. The fencing was upgraded with a new top rail, bringing the pool area up to compliance.

Now, the reveal: a centrepiece that finally matches the harbour view it looks out on, in a home where much of the dwelling looks straight over the pool.

Willoughby. The Roman stairs.

The original pool had swim-outs that prevented any cover installation and limited functional entry points throughout. We removed them entirely and replaced with Roman stairs, a clean entry solution that works with the new shell shape and supports the Remco automated cover.

Getting the entry right changes how the pool feels to use every single day.

Choosing the right team for a pool renovation is not easy.

In this video, our Ryde client shares their experience selecting a team for their renovation. With a professional background in construction and structural engineering for pools, they had seen the full range of quality the industry has to offer, and admit they were nervous going in.

That changed after the first site visit. Clear communication from the outset gave them confidence in the decision, and that confidence held throughout the project.

In their words, no regrets.

Before, During & After Transformation | Narrabeen

A prefabricated pool installed on screw piers, surrounded by limestone stepping stones and finished with a tile selection chosen to complement the broader landscape design. This project was delivered in collaboration with our landscaping and design partners.

The before speaks for itself. The after is what happens when every detail is considered from the start.

The walkthrough | North Narrabeen.

This project came together through a great team. Landscaping and design by Vision Landscapes and Horticulture Pty Ltd., with the overall design managed by SITEDESIGN+STUDIOS. The pool itself is a prefabricated, fully tiled concrete shell manufactured by Precast Pools in Newcastle.

Installation made the most of rear access to the property, with a crane used to lift and position the pool into place. Eight screw piers were driven approximately five metres into the sand, with concrete pads poured on top to create a stable base for the shell to sit on.

A great result, made possible by a great team.

The most common questions we get asked before a renovation begins.

How long does a pool renovation take? Most projects run between six and eight weeks depending on the scope of structural work, finish selection, and equipment installation.

Do I need to empty the pool first? Yes. A full renovation requires the pool to be drained so the shell, substrate, and hydraulics can be properly assessed and worked on.

Can you renovate without replacing the existing equipment? Sometimes. We assess the existing pump, filter, and sanitisation system as part of every scope. If the equipment is still performing correctly and suits the pool size, it stays. If not, we will recommend what needs upgrading and why.

How do I know if my pool needs structural work before a resurface? We assess this on site. Surface finishes applied over structural issues will not last. Getting the diagnosis right is what separates a renovation that lasts from one that needs to be done again in five years.

If you have a question we have not answered here, contact us today and we will walk you through it.

Introducing Turramurra.

This project started with a pool that could not circulate water correctly, fencing mounted mid-coping that blocked access to the full perimeter, and no connection between the pool environment and the home.

We repositioned the pool returns to achieve correct hydraulic balance, relocated the fencing to a side-mounted configuration, fully retiled the interior with tiles cut and finished directly against the natural rock face, and built a custom timber deck with an integrated concealed blanket box at the pool end. The patio threshold was tiled to match the pool surround, creating a seamless visual flow from the shell through to the home interior.

The result is a pool that finally works, and a space that feels considered from every angle.
