When it arrived, people called it outrageous. Now they call it a legend. Holden's homologation hero was built so the Group A racers could exist, and #11 has a Bathurst story all of its own.

Bathurst week calls for something special, and this morning we got up close with a true piece of Mount Panorama history. 🏁

1988 HSV VL COMMODORE SS GROUP A SV "WALKINSHAW": Build #11

The Walkinshaw was born for one reason: to homologate Holden's weapon for Group A touring car racing. Love it or hate it, the "Plastic Pig" is now one of the most iconic shapes Holden ever put on the road.

This one is special even by Walkinshaw standards.
