Recently l've had enquiries about decluttering...
So here are some ideas and prices...
If you would like a declutter, l would prefer a viewing of what needs to be decluttered whether it's a room, area inside or out, shed or garden shed ect. I prefer to discuss take notes and share some ideas of what could be achieved in your space.

There is so much hype on TV these days about these decluttering journeys, that sometimes it can be mind boggling!!! Some suggest purchasing containers/boxes to place items in, some say they need to donate THEIR items to Op shops, some say that they only have limited time to do it in and others go way beyond what is needed!!!
Me....well you may ask...do l??? No not in that way!!! We all need help some where or some time in life. I try not to rush a declutter...l like to get a "feel" for it 1st. My main goal upfront and for most....is the client!!! Where their at...how their feeling...why do they want to...who they really are...when is it going to start/finish and what is the reason they want to declutter????
Lots and lots of questions to be had...
I myself recently went through this...my Mum past about 3yrs ago....and oh my what a journey that was....!!!! Cleaning decluttering sorting out what to keep and what to not to keep memories and grief....it sure was challenging.
I get it!!! I really do!!! It's a really hard gig to deal with...

Well that's been a couple of interesting months!!!! I haven't really had much of a chance to get on here lately...so here's an update...business has been up and down. People sick and others away on holidays.
Though it's been like that, it's given me a chance to catch up on my home life. Sorting out items in the garage, trying to sale items(not to successfully l might had....hahaha!!!) trying to keep one teenager at school.
(challenging!!!), then getting them assessed for ADHD....plus trying to help older boy to look for work!!! These moments have been stressful and quiet challenging, at times...this is why l'm grateful for the type of business l have. Alot of people say go back to working for someone...be easier...steady pay...holidays and sick pay!!!
BUT... If l did...l wouldn't have had the opportunity to do all that l have had to do in the last couple of months. Yes some days are harder than others and other days are fantastic!!! But l promised myself to never give up!!! (Believe me there were days when l sure wanted to!!!)
So, with the clients l have with me at the moment have been an absolute joy to work with... l'm forever grateful...
Right now l'm helping a family that really needs my help...though their adult children still live at home and their parents aren't getting any younger, things at home have gotten away on them. Parents unwell and one adult child is mentally unwell and the other works in a stressful job. So in l come, to help assist in ways that they can't!!! The expressions on their faces blows me away, when work gets done!!! If they could do it they would...so abit of tidying up here and there lots of cleaning and just general organizing of their home life. Due to privacy for them, l'm unable to put photos up. The house is very old and needs alot of TLC!!!
So that's what's been happening in my world these last couple of months...have a great week everyone

Having a neat and tidy home that's fresh and organised, makes a huge difference. So how often are certain areas in the home get overlooked!!!
I can offer a declutter from small medium or large. It could be the shed a bedroom laundry or the office or a child's room. For the 1st appt l like to communicate with the client, what they wish to attend to. This can sometimes take up to an 1/2hr to 1 hour depending on what needs to be done. Then once all is discussed on what is required, we take the next step to start the declutter.
I provide the removal of belongings and these are transported by cardboard boxes or large plastic bags. Many people have asked me in the past"Do l need to go buy containers for the declutter?" Not at first...it's easier to just start decluttering slowly, so it's not overwhelming for the client. Then if they chose to purchase containers/baskets, they can. It's not always needed to have the containers/baskets in the end...as l like to keep it nice and simple.

Next l would like to offer laundry/ironing services as a seperate package. This is priced at $40 per hour. Ironing and laundry is provided in the client's home to make it easier...less stress of carting from home to home. Sounds like a great offer...enquire today

Well that was a job well done!!!! Pat on the back l'd say!!! Took me 4 Fridays to get the "yuckies" off the cracks of the lino but l did it!!! Yay!!!

Unfortunately times are getting tougher for smaller businesses...l have heard some businesses are really struggling and l know how they feel!!!
So l'm just politely saying that if you require my business...please do not ask me to reduce my prices!!!!! Think about it...by the time you add travel(fuel), equipment(vaccum ect), cleaning items(products) plus stationary(business cards, invoice books, pens, uniforms, merchandise) it all adds up!!!
I've had people make enquiries over the years and apparently get the "shock of their life" when l say my hourly rate!!!
WELL GUESS WHAT!!!
THERE ARE COMPANIES OUT THERE THAT CHARGE WAY MORE THAN I DO!!!
Like all of us, l have bills to pay, kids to feed and have to put fuel in the car just like everyone else...
So to make it easier here is a summary of my prices:
General cleans 2hrs $55 per hr=$110
General cleans 3hrs $55 per hr=$165
General clean over 3hrs+ $55 per hr can be more than $165 ect.
General cleans usually involve bathroom/toilet
Bedrooms kitchenp loungeroom media room(if you have one) laundry wipe over and hallway floors. Sometimes l can squeeze in wipe over of kitchen/bathroom cupboards doors light switches or just fiddly bits.
On the occasion, l get asked about windows doors patios stairs walls/ceilings and ovens. These are more full on and intense jobs, these incur extra charges.
I understand that most people will not be happy with this, but l'm honest and refuse to "beat around the bush".
Some have also asked about if l can work on public holidays...l can but that is an extra $30 per hr, on top of my usual hourly rate. Other businesses charge between $50 - $80 or more an hour on public holidays.
Then after June, my rate will go up to $60 per hr, due to the rising costs of everything!!!
So there you have it...just putting it out there and hope this helps...
