We're Hiring – Casual Cleaners | Launceston & Burnie

General & Window Cleaning is looking for reliable and motivated people to join our growing team in Launceston and Burnie.

About the role:
- Casual cleaning positions
- Launceston & Burnie
- Must be available Monday to Friday from 3:30 pm onwards
- A current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card is essential
- Casual positions with the opportunity to progress into a permanent part-time role for the right applicants

What we're looking for:

Commercial Cleaner Wanted – Burnie Area

General & Window Cleaning is seeking a reliable commercial cleaner for an industrial site in the Burnie area.

Hours:

Tuesday and Thursday
4:00 pm to 7:40 pm
Approximately 7.3 hours per week

Additional hours may also be available at other nearby sites.

The role includes:

• General commercial cleaning
• Cleaning offices, amenities and common areas
• Vacuuming, mopping and waste removal
• Following site safety and security procedures

Applicants must be reliable, physically fit and healthy, able to work independently and committed to maintaining a high standard of cleaning.

The successful applicant must be willing and able to obtain:

• A MISC card for port access
• National Police Check
• Any other site-specific inductions or clearances required

Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience would be an advantage, but training can be provided to the right person.

General and Window Cleaning Pty Ltd is looking for a reliable and motivated Site Supervisor to join our school cleaning team in the Kingston area, starting Monday 22 June.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys supporting a team, and wants to play an important role in keeping a large school environment clean, safe and well-presented.

About the Role
As Site Supervisor, you’ll help oversee the afternoon cleaning team and ensure the site is cleaned to a high standard each day.

Your role will include:

• Supporting and supervising cleaning staff
• Assisting with cleaning duties when required
• Checking work against site cleaning schedules
• Helping maintain high standards across classrooms, toilets, offices and common areas
• Reporting any issues, maintenance concerns or supply needs
• Supporting new staff with site expectations and cleaning processes
