Quick look at the bulkheads we machine for inside the caravan roof, cut out for LED lights, doors supplied to match.

Specific work for this customer, all done on the two CNCs.

Walked through the build at Vibe Caravans with Jarrod, from chassis to finished van.

Good to see where all the furniture ends up once it leaves us.

Family comes first here, always has. We're equal, we own our mistakes, and if something's going on at home, we sort it out and the work waits.

That's the kind of place we've tried to build over the years.

Caught up with Jarrod from Vibe Caravans.

Five years in, a few hiccups along the way like any manufacturing relationship, but still here doing it together.

Good to hear that straight from him.

The biggest mistake is jumping in without thinking about how big the job actually becomes once you're in it.

What feels like a good idea on day one can turn into a lot more than people bargained for.

A few quick picks on caravan interior style. Light panels over timber, white interiors for the space, and leaning more two-tone these days.

Mostly caravan manufacturers, that's about 80 percent of our work.

Benchtops, doors, cabinets, and some of the less obvious bits too, like the wall sections where power points and water fillers go.

Showrooms sell vans on how they look. They don't sell you on what it's like cooking dinner in one every night for three months straight.

Most interior problems don't show up on a weekend trip. They show up around week three, when a drawer that used to slide fine is sticking, or the overhead locker you've opened four hundred times finally gives up.

The gap between a van that looks good and a van that works well comes down to a few specific things. Hardware rated for daily use, not occasional use. A kitchen layout built around someone actually cooking in it, not just photographing well. Storage that's designed for how long term travellers pack, not how a showroom display is staged.

If you're planning an extended trip, the time to sort this out is before you leave, not when you're already a few weeks in and stuck with it.

If your van's interior wasn't built for the kind of travel you're about to do, reach out and we'll look at it with you before you go.

This is what it looks like when the flat pack leaves us and becomes a finished van.

Everything labelled, pre-machined, ready for the boys to put together. Good to see it come to life.

Thanks Arosh from Stallion Caravans for showing us through!
