Community at Cavell We also work with other Community service providers to enhance and ensure our effectiveness. We do this because God calls us to care for all people in need.

Community@Cavell serves the Scoresby & wider Knox area with community-based initiatives for all ages.

>Help with job applications, budgeting, frozen meals (by appointment)
>Free meals & community activities

o local Community needs that arise. The need in the immediate community is growing and has been identified through an increase in requests for assistance. Community@Cavell currently provides the following services at it's Community Hub at 15 Cavell Street, Scoresby:
> Coffee Plus - Social get together involving games, crafts and chats for all ages and abilities on Tuesday 10:30am - 12:00noon
> Showers of Hope** - Free Shower and Laundry facilities available to anyone that requires them on Tuesdays from 2:00pm - 6:00pm
> Cavell Kitchen - Community meals free to all on Tuesdays at 6:00pm
> Mainly Music - music-based playgroup style gathering of parents and toddlers on Friday 10:00am - 11:30am

** Community@Cavell acknowledges and thanks Knox City Council for it's support through its Community Development Fund, which helped in the fit-out of our shower and laundry facilities. Community@Cavell is supported by One Hope Community Church www.ohcc.com.au

Open to all before-school-aged children and their parents/caregivers, Playgroup offers a delightful gathering featuring story-time, coffee and tea for parents/caregivers, and ample playtime for both children and parents to interact throughout the session.

- Meet at 10.00am at 15 Cavell St, Scoresby to travel together with others, OR
- Meet at 10.30am at 3 Clifford Grove, Tecoma
