Rose’s approach to home cleaning is shaped by experience across several industries. Before moving into domestic cleaning, she worked in hospitality, aged care, and commercial cleaning. Each role required a different standard of care: attention to detail and presentation in hospitality, consistency and hygiene in aged care, and efficiency in commercial environments. Working across
these settings provided a clear understanding of what it takes to maintain a space properly. It also gave insight into the products and methods commonly used to achieve that standard. Over time, Rose saw that many cleaning environments relied on strong chemical products to deliver results quickly. While effective, these products often come with well-documented concerns around air quality, and potential impacts on respiratory and immune health for both people and pets, particularly with regular, long-term exposure. Rather than relying on heavy chemical use, the focus shifted to using non-toxic, eco-friendly products paired with careful, thorough cleaning methods to achieve the same outcome in a way that is more suitable for the home. Rose uses the same products in her own home as she does in her clients’ homes. It is a deliberate choice, grounded in both confidence in the products and a considered approach to how a home should be cared for.She also sees an environmentally responsible approach not just as a preference, but as an ethical one.
