Not all “dirty” is actually dirt 👇
This is something a lot of people don’t realise…
Sometimes what looks like heavy staining or buildup is actually surface damage caused by the wrong chemicals.
On this job:
– Marks wouldn’t lift
– Scrubbing made no difference
– Certain areas were rough / etched
That’s because the surface has been burnt or stripped, not just left dirty.
This can happen from:
• Harsh cleaners (acidic or too strong)
• Products left sitting too long
• Builders or previous cleans using the wrong chemicals
As a professional cleaner, knowing the difference is EVERYTHING.
Because pushing harder or using stronger products doesn’t fix it…
👉 it can actually make it worse.
In these cases, it’s about being honest with the client:
Some areas need restoration, re-sealing or repair — not just a clean.
This is why experience matters 💪
