🟡 European Wasps Are Extremely Aggressive 🟡

We recently attended a European wasp treatment in Reservoir where active wasps were creating a serious safety risk around the property.

Unlike bees, European wasps can sting repeatedly and will aggressively defend their nest if disturbed. During warmer months, colonies rapidly increase in size and activity.

Big news for 2026 — Pest Control Empire is proud to be joining the Barwon Heads Football & Netball Club as an official sponsor for the seasons ahead.

This partnership means a lot to me personally. I played footy at Barwon Heads back in 2006 and 2007 and still have many great mates and memories from my time at the club. It’s always been a fantastic community with great people involved both on and off the field.

🚨 This is what happens when European wasps are left too long… 🚨

We attended a home in Epping where a European wasp nest had been active inside a wall cavity for quite some time.

The result?
👉 Moisture from the nest built up so much that the internal plaster wall turned to mush
👉 The wall was starting to break down
👉 The wasps were not far off entering the home

European wasps don’t just sting—they destroy structures from the inside out if left untreated.
