I can't praise this business more with the way they have dealt with an issue. Shane was brilliant in the way he respectfully explained their business' situation.

We have recently been dealing with people who think it's ok to conduct urban pest control services unlicensed and uneducated in the process. Even had an aggressive confrontation in regards to it also after calling someone out. With the pest industry being such a highly regulated industry it's frightening to know people would offer pest control in our community when they don't know what they can and can not use or do ie. wind speeds. There is much more depth to what pest management is about than what meets the eye. This is why you must have training to be educated and then licensed to conduct it safely.

This business owner respectfully knows this.

Businesses supporting businesses is what should happen, whether we are in the same industry or not....it's better to be united than not. Thank you for your honesty & professionalism. You've gained a new customer in me today.

***IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR GUNNEDAH & SURROUNDING AREAS:***

I have been lead to believe that there are a couple of small businesses (or sole traders or just people) in Gunnedah that conduct other work scopes such as yard maintenance, cleaning, carpet cleaning etc that are now offering urban pest services such as end of lease flea & tick sprays.

To legally be able to conduct these they must be either licensed or working under a licensed persons/business/companies EPA licence. They must’ve gone through the trade course units required to get this license and work under someone licensed for certain units to be signed off and then pass their course before EPA NSW issue licenses. They must have the correct industry insurances.

In New South Wales, the pest control industry is strictly regulated to protect public health and safety. This means that all pest control work, including urban jobs like end-of-lease treatments, must be carried out by a licensed professionals or by someone working under the licence and insurance of a licensed pest controllers business. Operating without a proper licence is illegal, ensuring that only qualified and insured practitioners handle pest-related issues.

If you are booking pest control works through unlicensed persons, please don't and especially don't do it through your property managers as they can get into trouble and that's not fair.

In Gunnedah there are three reputable, licenced and insured pest control businesses:

• Martins Pest Control & Termite Specialists (Millerd & Martins)

• Rentons Pest Control Services

• C.H. Pest Solutions
(No one is working under these businesses licenses that isn't employed directly and hasn't been trained accordingly)

🎄🎁 Christmas & New Years 🎉🎊 Trading Hours:

We are now fully booked until the new year.

We are closed from Saturday 21st December 2024 until we return to work on the 6th of January 2025.

We apologise if this causes any inconvenience though this time of the year will be spent with our children and having time dedicated to our families.
