This November, Joss is proud to get behind Movember, supporting the important work being done to improve men’s mental health, su***de prevention, and cancer awareness.

NAIDOC Week 2025: Celebrating 50 Years of Strength, Vision & Legacy ❤️💛🖤

National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year, to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year marks 50 years of NAIDOC Week, a powerful milestone honouring the resilience, culture and leadership of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and celebrates the achievements of past and bright future ahead, empowered by the strength of our young leaders, the vision of our communities, and the legacy of our ancestors.

Joss Group acknowledges the contributions and dedication of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, especially in the communities in which we operate.

Harmony Week is the annual celebration of Australia’s cultural diversity and the benefits it brings to the Australian community.

This year Harmony Week is being held from 17th to 23rd March and coincides with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

It is a time to celebrate inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background.

Here at Joss, we are proud of our diverse workforce, and the contributions each employees brings to the team!

One of our cleaners, Susie Gardiner, was awarded with a Director’s Award at the Beelbangera Public School assembly for “Outstanding contribution and service to the school community”

Not only does Susie clean the school she also volunteers at the school doing “bug chat” and looks after the school’s chickens and guinea pigs.

We’re excited to announce that Joss Group have signed up to take part in the initiative and we’d love for you to Register online and join our Team!

MATES Big Lap is an initiative held during the full month of May to raise awareness about mental health and su***de in the Construction industry.

The challenge is to commit to and complete a specific amount of physical activity by tracking the kilometres we cover each day (walking, running, cycling, or swimming), all while raising awareness and funds for MATES. The distance covered by each participant will need to be added to the Joss Group team page to contribute to our team’s distance goal of 3,820km (which is the round trip distance from the Joss Albury office to each of our district offices around the state).

This is a virtual event, so anyone can join, anywhere in the country!

Cost to Register is $35 per person (which includes a MATES Big Lap T-shirt). Each participant will be required to pay their own registration fees and Joss will match the cost of Joss Employee (and their immediate family’s) participant entry fees and donate a total sum to a local charity.
