Midnight last night ๐ฅฃ
So grateful for the home cooked meals, breastfeeding has really taken it out of me & the hospital doesnโt supply enough food ๐ณ
We spent the first 6 days in hospital, went home Thursday night & back Friday afternoon.
We appreciate your patience, kindness & compassion during this time.
Unfortunately some personal struggles will impact our professional lives too.
Scheduling, invoicing, quoting & the work itself.
Christopher hasnโt worked for 9 days, our son has been away from us for 9 days, Chrisโ children have missed out on school holiday visits, our home life & furbabies has been neglected & not to mention the mental & emotional strain of carrying it all.
The constant information overload, the constant miscommunication between staff & shift changes, repeating your story, doctors, nurses, midwives, paediatricians, lactose consultants, mental health workers. Being half naked , screaming baby & someone comes in to collect / drop off the meal tray.
We havenโt had visitors (our choice), I have hardly seen the outside world, havenโt taken phone calls or kept in touch with many people.
Itโs a lot.
And we are sorry for being non responsive, delayed, forgetful & just not quite present.
Last night we had some improvement with Hosanna ๐๐ผ sheโs getting her colour, put on .02kg & woke up unassisted twice for her feed ๐ฅน keep us in your prayers ๐๐ผ
