Through its tri-weekly delivery programme, the farm connects households and businesses to fresh seasonal produce, while expanding into luxury camping and immersive farm stay experiences inspired by regenerative living.
🌱_Back to Basics Organics Farm_ is a sustainable, small-scale farming enterprise dedicated to natural, regenerative food production. Focused on organic practices and working in harmony with nature, Back to Basics Organics Farm aims to produce healthy, high-quality food while promoting environmental stewardship and self-sufficiency.
🌱_Green Fox Ltd_ is an organic farming operation based on Lilayi farm producing a wide variety of organic fruits, culinary & medicinal herbs, and vegetables. Green Fox promotes agroecological food forest production systems and provides training for those interested in sustainable farming practices, while also adding value through on-farm processing of fruits and selected vegetables.
🌱_Green Hill Farm_ is a regenerative farm based in Chongwe, specialising in premium chilli and garlic production. Its Chongwe Red Reserve range features artisanal small-batch products crafted with care from ingredients grown and processed on the farm.
🌱_Mikooka Estate Ltd_ based in Chongwe is a regenerative farm focused on value-added products by maximising the use of seasonal produce and minimising food waste. The farm applies permaculture principles, integrating tree crops, shrubs and fast-rotating vegetables, while exploring sustainable food systems through forest food utilisation and on-farm processing.
🌱_Ponya Farms_ is an organic farm based in New Kasama, Lusaka, specialising in strawberries and sugar cane production. Ponya farms also grows a diverse range of fresh produce including coloured sweet potatoes, cherry tomatoes, baby spinach and rocket, using sustainable methods such as crop rotation, companion planting and plant-based fertilisation.
🍂_Greens & Grains Trading Ltd_ is an eco-conscious grocery store focused on healthy and sustainable food choices, offering locally produced organic fruits, herbs and vegetables alongside artisan and natural products including sourdough breads, gluten-free muffins, herbal teas and fermented foods. Greens & Grains promotes environmentally responsible packaging where possible.
🍃_Lusaka Smokeless Charcoal_ is women-owned green energy company producing high-quality smokeless charcoal and briquettes from agricultural and forest waste. Company develops cleaner and longer-burning fuel alternatives for households, restaurants, industry and heating, while promoting environmentally sustainable energy solutions that reduce deforestation and carbon emissions.

🍂_Sourdough Selma_. An artisan baker producing naturally fermented German-style seeded sourdough breads and other baked products crafted with precision, using traditional techniques and carefully selected ingredients.
🍃_Southhills Enterprise_ is a green technologies enterprise specialising in household-scale biogas systems, home solar PV solutions and climate-smart agriculture products, including bio-fertilizer. The company promotes sustainable energy and agricultural practices, with its bio-fertilizer tested for fertiliser application at Mount Makulu Research Station.
🍂_Tej Rae_. An American teacher who arrived in Zambia in 1999 and an award-winning author. Tigerfish is a chapter book about ten-year-old Mwati, the rebellious granddaughter of the first female Zambian president. Environmental, educational and nutritional themes run through all of her books. Her forthcoming adult novel from Catalyst Press, Salaula Sisters, will debut in September 2026.
