Fiber Optic Pool Lights

Fiber Optic pool lighting is a great alternative if you dread changing the bulbs in your pool lights. This is due to the fact that the power that keeps the lights going actually isn't within the water, but connected to a dry power box. With this design, the light travels from the box to the pool along a skinny cable with tiny fibers. With this, when any repairs are needed, all you have to do is turn to the dry power box, avoiding concerns about dealing with electricity and water.

While this can be safer for pool owners, since the power is traveling from further away, the lights tend to be dimmer than some of the alternatives. Additionally, the bulbs do not last as long, although they cost just as much.
