We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Safety Inspector to join our team at Tswina Events Management. As a Food Safety Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food and beverages served to our clients meet the highest standards of safety and quality. _Responsibilities:_
- Conduct regular inspections of food and beverage preparation and service areas to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards
- Monitor and enforce proper food handling, storage, and preparation practices
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential food safety hazards
- Develop and implement corrective actions to address any food safety issues
- Collaborate with event staff and vendors to ensure food safety protocols are followed
- Provide training and guidance on food safety best practices
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and corrective actions
_Requirements:_
- Qualified in Food Science, Environmental Health, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in food safety inspection or related field
- Certification in food safety (e.g. HACCP, Food Safety Manager)
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- Excellent observational and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
