Plumbing is an essential service to ensure safe hygiene and sanitation.

We at Metro Plumbers Gauteng acknowledge the severity of the pandemic we are currently faced with, thus have remained open during the 21 day lock down period.

During the lock down period we will carry out EMERGENCY repairs which include:

1. No running water (internal fault) & Burst water pipes.

2. Blocked drains.

3. Faulty or leaking toilets, geysers & taps.

We will continue to take precautions on site:

Staff are dispatched with goggles, masks, gloves, sanitizes and disinfectant.

We prioritize the safety of our staff and customers: upon our arrival to site, kindly point out the fault and maintain a safe distance.

Upon completion of work, all areas we (MPG) had come into contact with will be disinfected.

⚠️ DO NOT PUT ANY OILY SUBSTANCES DOWN YOUR DRAIN ⚠️

Oil might wash off your dishes easily with the use of hot water and dish washing liquid.

Whilst oil might wash off easily it drops temperature as it moves down the pipes. This solidifies and sticks to the sides of the walls causing blockages.

✅ Solution ✅

* Use a paper towel to wipe of the excess oil from dishes before rinsing off into the sink. You can throw this away into the bin.

* If youre using larger amounts of oil , leave it to cool , thereafter put it into a disposable container and later throw it into the bin .

If your complex or community has classified disposal bins , this makes it easy to discard.
