What an incredible wildlife encounter! 🦛🌙

Seven hippos left the St Lucia Estuary and roamed the streets of St Lucia last night, creating a truly unforgettable spectacle.

This amazing footage was captured by guests staying at Leopard Tree Lodge. While only five hippos can be seen in the video, there were actually seven in the herd, with two just out of view.

To the best of our knowledge, this is the largest number of hippos ever seen together roaming the streets of St Lucia at one time. A remarkable reminder that in St Lucia, wildlife always has the right of way!
