Most deep cycle batteries can last up to six years with proper care and charging routine (depending on the frequency of use). Make sure that your battery isn’t being damaged by your charging routine and/or excessive drain by use of power intensive applications beyond the rated output of the battery ♻️🍃🍀.

A battery, of roughly 6 years old, in a recent project presented signs of acid leakage which is harmful to the environment and your health and safety. Do a battery inspection at least once a year to monitor the state of your batteries as well as cleaning the terminals upon inspection.
