How I started Sneaker Fresh...

Firstly I absolutely love shoes, all kinds of shoes really but mostly Sneakers! When my sneakers get dirty it really frustrates me, especially my white ones. So when I bought my white Nikes I just knew that they would get dirty almost instantly and when they did I had heard about this sneaker cleaning place (obviously can’t disclose the name). They charged me over R200 to clean my Nikes and when I went to fetch them, the result was very disappointing. So i took a chance and cleaned them myself. All i can say is i shocked myself. I then started noticing other peoples Sneaker/Trainers and realised how dirty they were and how lazy most people are to clean them, to just ask their helper or gardener to clean them, or shove them in the washing machine (which by the way damages the glue and therefore your sneakers start lifting off the sole). This is very concerning for me as shoes are not cheap these days and honestly, they are guaranteed to shorten their life span. So I decided, why not offer my services to others for more than half the price. Ok ok, my turn around time might not be as fast as this other “place” but my results are a hundred times better! AND, I’m cheaper!

I now have my logo and my flyers are in the process of being made. This is the first time I have ever taken a risk and I’m really hoping that it works out. I think my passion for Sneakers and CLEAN Sneakers is what sets me apart from all the other “places” that offer the same service.
