Cut stump. Direct application. No drift, no damage to the surrounding veld. This is what precision looks like. ๐ฟ
The basal cut and stem injection method gets overlooked because it's slower than a blanket spray. But for species like *Lantana camara* โ deeply established, with root reserves that laugh at surface treatment โ this is the approach that actually ends the plant. Not sets it back. Ends it.
It works because the herbicide goes exactly where the plant's vascular system will carry it: straight to the roots. The surrounding native vegetation stays untouched. The soil microbiome takes less of a knock. And the result holds, because you've dealt with the whole plant, not just the canopy.
Precision costs more time upfront. It saves you three retreatments and two growing seasons of regrowth on the back end. That's the trade-off most people don't calculate until after they've tried the shortcut.
If *Lantana* or any other established invasive is your current battle, let's talk method before we talk product. The right technique for your site matters as much as what's in the bottle. ๐ฒ
