We are hiring! Our retail shop in Port Elizabeth is looking for a stock controller and retail assistant with management potential.
Requirements:
🟦Minimum Grade 12
🟦Experience in stock control
🟦Motivated, energetic, friendly
🟦Computer literate
🟦Drivers license
Experience in the Swimming pool industry would definitely be a bonus.
This post would best be filled by someone willing to grow into the position with a potential for management.
Looking for someone who can eventually supervise a staff of 20 + and handle client queries and quotes. Definitely lots of potential for the right person.
In your covering letter, mention exactly what experience you have in the pool industry and exactly what bookkeeping systems or stock control systems you have worked on.

I know when I say this I speak for everyone in the pool industry: Photos and videos are our best friend

If you’re taking a water sample into a pool shop.

1- know what pool equipment you have. Take photos. Take videos. Know your Chlorinator. Make and model. It’s written on it. Know your filter. Media sand/glass filter or cartridge?

2- know the size of your pool. ‘Ohhhh about here to there…’ is not a size.
When your mechanic asks what car you drive do you say ‘aahhh a red one.’

3- water sample. Minimum 500mls of pool water. Take it elbow depth.

If you have an issue. Bring it in. Take photos take videos.

No baskets are not all the same. Bring yours in. Bring your vac plate in.
There is no such thing as a
-salt pump that makes salt.
-sand pump thingy.
-Kreepy Krawly does not make all the pool cleaners.
-yes the leaf rake/shovel, brush and vac head will fit your pole.

We ask questions for a reason. If you can answer them we will love you more.
It’ll make both our lives easier.

Don't empty your pool after heavy rains. You may end up with a concrete boat instead of a pool. This is even more of a risk with fiberglass pools, so never empty a pool without professional advice!
