KwaZulu-Natal Department of Social Development is looking for suitable candidates to fill the following positions:

1. Social Work Policy Developer: Crime Prevention and Support Services.
SALARY: Grade1: R 471 330 p.a
CENTER: Head Office, Pietermaritzburg: REF NO: DSD23/05/2026HO

Requirements:
√Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in Social Work. √Registration with the South African Council for Social Services Professions as a Social Worker. Only Shortlisted candidates will submit Proof of
current registration with the South African Council for Social Services Profession as a Social Worker. √A valid driver's license.
√A minimum of 8 years appropriate experience in Social Work after registration as a Social Worker with SACSSP.

2. Employee Health and Wellness Practitioner: Quality of Work Life
SALARY: Level 7: R 338 106 p.a
CENTER: Head Office, Pietermaritzburg: REF NO: DSD50/05/2026HO

Requirements:
√Bachelor's Degree (NQF level 7) in Social Work/ Psychology. Registration with the South African Council for Social Services as a Social Worker or with the Health Professions Council as a Psychologist, Only Shortlisted candidates will submit Proof of Current Registration with the South African Council for Social Services as a Social Worker or with the Health Professions Council as a Psychologist
√A valid driver's license.
√A minimum of 1-year administrative experience in Employee Health and Wellness environment.
