Hard plastic toys: Soak in warm, soapy water or place small pieces (like Lego blocks) inside a mesh laundry bag on the top rack of a dishwasher.

Bath toys: Scrub the inside and outside thoroughly with hot soapy water to prevent mold, then squeeze dry and store in a well-ventilated area.

Disinfecting: Use a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water in a spray bottle, wipe clean, and let air-dry.

Plush and Soft Toys 🧸

Machine washing: Place stuffed animals inside a pillowcase or mesh bag. Wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent using cool water.

Air drying: Hang or lay flat to dry; avoid high-heat tumble drying which can melt synthetic fur or warp the toy shape.

Dust mite removal: Seal old or fragile plush toys in a plastic bag and place them in the freezer overnight if they cannot handle a wet wash.
