Justice joined Ecowize in 2000 as a young hygiene operator, stepping into a world he didn’t yet know. On his first day, his mentor, lovingly known as Oom Jan, showed him the basics. Holding up a blue nozzle, he said, “Justice, this is a nozzle.” A simple moment. One that stayed with him.

What followed was not luck.
It was hunger, discipline, and a decision to build something for himself.

Early mornings. Late shifts. Showing up, again and again.

Justice didn’t wait for opportunity.
He went out and made it happen.

Today, we celebrate his 25 years of service and a journey from the floor to Director. Along the way, he has helped shape the work ethic, culture, and ethos that define Ecowize today.

His message to every Ecowizer:

“Opportunity is there.
It does not matter your background, your language, or where you start. Be proud of who you are. Use what is available to you.

The Ecowize Academy is there. Learn. Grow. Step forward.

Because this is not just a job.

Not all cleaning in food production relies on high water usage.

In mills and bakeries, cleaning is risk-based. In low-moisture environments, excessive water can introduce problems, increasing the potential for mould and pathogens such as Listeria and Salmonella.

That is why dry and minimal-water methods are planned, zoned, and controlled.

Facilities are mapped into risk-based zones. Product-contact areas receive the highest level of control, while surrounding zones are managed according to proximity and exposure. The objective is clear: remove debris effectively, prevent cross-contamination, and ensure surfaces are dry and ready before start-up.
