In Kemetic/Afrikan tradition, Heru is the falcon power of right rule—the force that holds the sky and establishes legitimate Kingship as a living principle of protection and order. Heru is repeatedly described in scholarship and museum tradition as a sky-deity strongly tied to Kingship and the defense of the realm (and by extension, the defense of harmony in life).

As a Deity, Heru is not merely “a warrior.” Heru represents clear sight and rightful authority: the capacity to see what is true, to act with precision, and to stabilize the community through aligned leadership. This is why the Wedjat (Eye of Heru) became a major symbol of healing, protection, and restoration of wholeness—a mythic image of injury repaired and order re-established.

In the classic family cycle, Heru is the son of Auset and Asar who contends with Set over rightful succession—an archetype of order meeting disruption and returning society to balance.
In practice, “walking with Heru” means: train the mind to hold steady, refuse chaos as a rule
