𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗣𝗩 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻?

A 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗲 (MPV) should lock firmly into each selected setting, allowing water to flow through the correct route for filtration, backwashing, rinsing or waste. When the handle does not lock properly, selecting and maintaining the correct setting becomes difficult.

This pool owner was experiencing exactly that problem so 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝗺:

✔️ Supplied a replacement MPV
✔️ Replaced the MPV top

Don’t struggle with a valve that won’t stay where in the position of the setting selected.

Contact Insane Maintenance Services and make switching between your MPV settings easy again.

STRONG CHLORINE SMELL IN YOUR POOL ❓️

A strong “chlorine” smell does not necessarily mean there is too much chlorine in the water.

When chlorine reacts with sweat, dirt, skin cells and other organic matter brought into the pool, it can form chloramines.

These compounds are responsible for much of the strong chemical odour associated with pools and can also irritate the eyes, skin and respiratory system.

Proper water treatment involves testing and balancing the pool’s chlorine and pH levels, while addressing the conditions that allow chloramines to build up.

DOES YOUR POOL FILTER PRESSURE KEEP RISING? DON’T IGNORE IT ⚠️

We recently completed a pool filter installation in Parkhurst for a pool owner experiencing this problem.

High pressure can point to restricted flow, loaded filter media or another issue within the filtration system. Knowing the filter’s normal pressure and understanding how the system operates help identify the real cause.

On this job, for more consistent filtration and greater confidence in the pool systems operation, we:
✔️ Assessed the filtration requirements
✔️ Identified the filter to be damaged
✔️ Installed a new filter in the correct size
✔️ Set up the filtration system for effective water flow.

Want your pool filtration system working with the right pressure and flow ❓️Call us today 👇👇

HAS YOUR POOL BEEN LEFT UNUSED AND NEGLECTED FOR TOO LONG?

Is your pool so dirty and neglected that you don’t even know where to start getting it back into shape?

That was the situation with this Melville pool. After being left unused and unkempt for a long period, it needed more than routine pool maintenance, so we:

💧 Drained the pool and high-pressure washed it to remove the accumulated dirt and buildup, preparing the pool for the next stage of restoration.

💧 Replaced the filter sand so the filtration system is ready to properly filter the pool once it’s refilled.

With the initial work done, the pool owner can look forward to the next stage in his process.

Want to enjoy your pool again without feeling overwhelmed by years of neglect?

Contact Insane Maintenance Services and let us get your pool back into a condition you will be excited to show-off to family and friends.

𝗣𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗣𝗨𝗠𝗣 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚? ⚠️

This pool owner in Melville was dealing with a pool pump that struggled to start, leaving the pool circulation system unable to operate properly.

Seeing the pump sitting idle was concerning. The owner was worried about the pool water quality deteriorating and the problem becoming more costly if the pump remained out of operation.

We diagnosed the problem and found that the pool pump would start intermittently at times. To restore the pump's ability to start and operate correctly we supplied and fitted a new capacitor.

The pool owner now feels relieved and is reassured, knowing the pump is working and the pool circulation system is running efficiently.

𝗣𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗣𝗨𝗠𝗣 𝗡𝗢𝗧 STARTING? DON'T LET A SMALL COMPONENT BECOME A BIGGER POOL PROBLEM.
