About a month ago, a beautiful selfless lady, Anjila Narainsamy, along with a few of her close friends hosted her birthday celebrations at June's Haven. These amazing ladies brought delicious cakes and eats and drinks and pressies for our residents. What an amazing initiative and it's even more special because she didn't know any of us or our residents or staff, she found out about us and just made it all happen with the help of her devoted friends. Our wonderful world would be a better place with more "Anjila's". Thank you dearest Anjila...may you receive many blessings in return.

Two years today our very precious Hettie Lee who was a resident at June's Haven passed away. She left such a gaping hole in our lives and I personally miss Hettie every single day. But sad as it is....I choose to treasure the memories. .every time I drive in my car I remember Hettie saying something funny or simply reaching out to hold my hand. I remember shopping with her and having her sit in our kitchen at June's Haven eating an apple with brown sugar and cinnamon whilst I prepared meals. .I remember her huge smile when she saw me walking towards her...I miss you my Hettie but more than that, I'm thankful you were in my life for almost 7 years. Love you Hettie
