Here are some tips on levelling and feeding your lawn areas, saving you time and money!

STEP 1:

Set your lawnmower to cut as short as possible. This will remove existing build-up thatch and also level out a certain amount of unevenness.

STEP 2:

Dump your lawn dressing mixture in small heaps (wheelbarrow) on your lawn.

STEP 3:

Roughly level the heaps of lawn dressing mix with a spade and/or rake.

STEP 4;

Use a float (piece of plank approximately 500 mm long) to scrape off as much as possible of the mix, exposing the grass blades. The unevenness of your lawn will now be filled with the mixture.

STEP 5:

We suggest adding a fertilizer on top of the lawn dressing.

STEP 6:

Water the entire area well.

* Do not put a thick layer of lawn dressing on the lawn, as your lawn will struggle to grow through. When you do your first mow after the above steps, mow without the lawn catcher otherwise the vacuum suction will suck up all of the lawn dressing.
