Hand Dryers vs Paper Towels

“Wash your hands before dinner” I am pretty sure most of us heard this at some point growing up and learnt that clean hands = good manners as well as good hygiene. But essentially this is a two part process that rarely ever has any thought put into it.

Wet hands can pick up and transfer germs and bacteria more easily and this is why the drying part is just as important as the initial washing phase.

But which one is better?

Here is how the two options stack up:

· Paper towels have enhanced hygiene in the fact that there is no cross contamination as friction is used to physically remove the germs and bacteria.
