Used to think I could do everything all at once and yes I do love doing other things besides art and I am pretty good at doing those things but I chose art because it’s literally the reason I came to Joburg in the first place, it’s the reason I wanted to initially leave my hometown and when things were tough and I had to go back home, art brought me back to Joburg the land of greater opportunities…Art helped me stay in this city that I’m now proud to call home, I know it doesn’t end with just this (Art) but I know it’s a great start. Who knew after about 16 years of creating art I’d still feel like I’m in the beginning stages of my career. This is super humbling, exciting, scary at times but all the way worth it. I trust God and I‘m leaving it in his hands to guide, protect and bless this journey as we continue to create, learn and grown from our endeavors. Super grateful that I’m still here as well as some of the people I know…while we’re here we’ll do everything that we can to make sure that not only are we proud of what we’re creating but that it’s even better that we get to create together.
