Phew… FINALLY! 😂 The last birthday of August! 🎂

That’s 4 staff birthdays in one month and let’s just say… August has officially left SCS Cleaning Services financially humbled. 😂💸

My first year running SCS has taught me a few very important lessons:

1. Do NOT plan a 40-day diet during August. The amount of “NO THANK YOU” I’ve had to say to birthday cake this month deserves an award. 😂
2. PUT MONEY AWAY FOR AUGUST BIRTHDAYS. Future Saskia, please take note. 😂

And last but definitely not least, we have our Mamma of the group, Elizabeth! ❤️

Thank you Elizabeth, for everything you do for our team. You’re always so calm and quiet and no matter how busy things get or how all over the show I am 😂, you take your time and make sure the job is done properly the first time around.

I really appreciate your hard work, consistency and the way you always make sure the details are DETAILING!

Happy birthday Elizabeth! 🥳🎂
SCS Cleaning Services wouldn’t be the same without you. ❤️

And with that… AUGUST, WE ARE DONE. 😂

The laundry had a birthday this week. 🧺🎂

She came in her pyjamas.
The tiny boss came hungry.
The cupcake barely survived.
And somehow… laundry still got done. 😂

Happy birthday to our laundry queen 🫶🏼
May your year be less laundry, more cupcakes, and absolutely no socks without their matching partner. 🧦🤣

Very excited about this one! 💛🌿

It’s always so cool when local businesses come together and we’re really happy to be working alongside Stay Safe SA.

They’re doing something really exciting for the holiday-accommodation industry — creating a platform where guests can find verified and approved accommodation they can trust.

We’re proud to be connected with them and excited to see this grow right here in our community.

If you’re an accommodation owner and want to find out more, reach out to the Stay Safe SA team — they’ll be happy to chat!

Here’s to local businesses supporting local businesses. 🤍

So does knowing they’re noticed.

I’ve always believed that the person I am today is shaped by every place I’ve been, every job I’ve done, and every lesson I’ve learned along the way. 🤍

SCS wasn’t built overnight. It was built through early mornings, long shifts, uncomfortable jobs, incredible people and experiences from around the world.

From working on farms and orchards in Israel, to fishing boats, construction in England, the yachting industry in Miami, a medical plastics factory and industrial laundry — every experience taught me something different.

Discipline. Resilience. Attention to detail. Consistency. And most importantly, that there is always a solution.

Those lessons became the foundation of SCS Cleaning Services and the standards I hold today.

Because when you book SCS, you’re not just getting someone to clean your home. You’re getting years of experience, high standards and a genuine belief that the little things matter.

This is the story behind SCS. 🩵
