Not sure what to do with all that stuff you can't recycle? I regularly take a wooden dowel and shove it into empty plastic bottles to contain it, then pop it into my municipal rubbish bin collection. 🍬🥤
You'd be surprised at how quickly ecobricks fill up.
My filled ecobricks typically contain:
used pill packs, crumpled packaging tape, cling wrap, plastic straws and bottletop rings (the ones that strangle fish and small birds picking through waste).🐟🐦
I figure that having the small stuff contained in one item on a rubbish dump is better than scattered across the peninsula by wind or in the sea.🌱🐙
