If cockroaches suddenly seem more noticeable during wet weather, that’s not your imagination. 🪳

Rain and damp conditions can push pest activity toward warm, sheltered indoor spaces like:
• kitchens
• cupboards
• under sinks
• behind appliances
• drain areas

Look behind the fridge, under the sink and along the edges of cupboards.
If sightings keep repeating, it may be time to deal with the source properly.

Sometimes the first ant you notice is just the beginning.

If you’re seeing one or two ants indoors, check:
• where they’re coming from
• what they’re heading toward
• whether there’s moisture, crumbs or pet food nearby

Because once the trail is established, the problem usually grows fast.

As temperatures rise, fly activity tends to increase too, making outdoor entertaining, kitchens and waste areas important places to keep an eye on. Rentokil South Africa has even used the Heritage/Braai season as a fly-control education opportunity for exactly this reason.

A few simple habits help:
Keep food covered.
Clean spills and scraps quickly.
Keep rubbish bins closed.
Don't allow waste to build up.

Because nobody ordered a side of flies with the boerewors.
