Let's help the environment by using recycled glass as a filter medium instead of mining sand from the earth and having to waste water to clean it for use in a sand filter.
Recycled crushed glass is a more efficient filtration medium and lasts longer than sand. Easy to clean/wash by using natural salt.
When it needs to be replaced it can be recycled again as an abrasive or used for drainage improvement in the garden.

SAVE WATER!!!!!

NO MORE JOJO TANKS NEEDED

We have created a system that allows you to backwash straight back into the pool.No more wasting water every time you backwash.

By using this system and changing over to glass in your filter, your water will be filtered down to 3 micron (cleaner than the water we drink).

Question: Would you bath in the same water over and over again. Well this is what is happening with storing water in JoJo tanks from your swimming pool.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BACKWASHING DIRECT TO POOL

1. TURN OFF PUMP
2. PLACE SELECTOR VALVE ON WASTE POSITION
3. REMOVE POOL CLEANER AND VACUUM LID FROM WEIR/SKIMMER
4. CLOSE BALL VALVE No. 1 AND OPEN No. 2
5. TURN ON PUMP
6. SLOWLY POUR 500 GRAMS D.E. (DIATAMACIOUS EARTH) POWDER INTO WEIR AND
STIR. ( THIS IS “CALLED CHARGING THE CARTRIDGE FILTER”)
7. TURN OFF PUMP ONCE D.E. POWDER IS GONE FROM WEIR
8. PLACE SELECTOR VALVE ON BACK WASH POSITION AND TURN ON PUMP
9. ONCE SIGHT GLASS IS CLEAR, TURN OFF PUMP AND SELECT RINSE AND TURN ON
PUMP
10. ONCE SIGHT GLASS IS CLEAR TURN OFF PUMP
11. OPEN BALL VALVE No. 1 AND CLOSE BALL VALVE No. 2
12. UNSCREW BLEEDER CAP TO DRAIN WATER FROM CARTRIDGE FILTER
13. SELECT MPV TO FILTER AND TURN ON PUMP

CLEANING THE CARTRIDGE FILTER

WHEN THE WATER FLOW IS WEAK WHEN BACKWASHING REMOVE THE CARTRIDGE FROM IT’S
HOUSING.
THERE ARE TWO METHODS OF CLEANING THE CARTRIDGE:
1. USING WATER TO WASH OFF THE D.E. FROM THE CARTRIDGE.
2. THE PREFERRED METHOD: PLACE THE CARTRIDGE IN A SUNNY AND DRY PLACE AND ONCE
COMPLETELY DRY, KNOCK OFF THE D.E. IN THE GARDEN OR DUST BIN/WHEELY BIN.
ONCE CLEAN REPLACE AND RECHARGE WITH D.E. AS PER No. 6 PREVIOUSLY DESCRIBED.

Oh dear it seams that the powers that be have turned pool owners into MURDERERS by introducing them to pool covers. Would you place a plastic bag over your child's head to stop him/her from breathing. I doubt it.
Swimming pools are not just vessels of water. Swimming pool water needs to be kept alive with chemicals(food) and air(breath).
Please people let your swimming pool breath at least twice a week.
Remove the covers at night when evaporation is minimal.
If you all do this and you stand outside at night you will hear the sighs of swimming pools.
Let's start a new slogan "Free my pool"

Perhaps you should ask us about WATERGUARD. This is a liquid blanket that allows your pool to breathe.

Wow I've tried it and it works.
Used to top up my pool with borehole water every week, at least 3cm, no top up since adding week and a half ago.

Saving Water
It's all well and fine using a solar blanket but always remember the pool is a body of living water and needs to breath. Remove the blanket at least once a week so that it can.
Maintain a stabilizer level of 60 parts per million and a lower ph.
DO NOT USE FLOATERS OR PILLS WITH A SOLAR BLANKET.

If you need to cover the pool you could use foundation plastic with sand bags. Much cheaper as well.

If you top up your pool with well point water add acid into the weir to oxidize the unwanted "metals" in the water and filter till clear, this should prevent the pool from going brown
