HSFA is proud to announce a significant milestone in our journey of delivering compassionate, high-quality palliative care. Following our recent assessment by the Association of Palliative Care Providers (APCC), we have advanced from a 1-Star to a 3-Star Hospice—an achievement that reflects the dedication and collective effort of our entire organisation.

We did not walk this journey alone. The support from the Western Cape Hospice Palliative Care Association (WC HPCA) was invaluable, with members always willing to offer guidance and advice.

We are especially grateful to the APCC's mentors, surveyors and accreditation team, whose encouragement, accessibility, and commitment to our success made a meaningful difference. Their approach reflects a genuine partnership—one that empowers organisations like HSFA to grow and succeed.
