When you enquire for pool service it is important to know what the service is all about. When we come to the pool we backwash and rinse. Then we vacuum the pool and scrub the sides of the pool. We clean all the filters on the pool. We top up the water of the pool while we are busy and we close the tap when we leave. We test the pool water. We add Chlorine and Acid on demand and we advise you what other chemicals is needed for the pool. Extra services are charged extra. Such as sweep around the pool. Wash Pool furniture. Hose down surface around pool.
If you have small particles suspended in water it is always good to remove the creepy and let the pool pump suck the top water. If it makes a tornado then I normally put a full brick skew over the weir to prevent the tornado. You can run the pump 24 hours to clear cloudy water. Backwash and rinse and run it again for 24 hours until the water is crystal clear. Then you can add the creepy again to clean the bottom and the sides.
Green is never a good sign. But when the pool starts to become green again you can add Algaecide and Chlorine.
Moving over to Salt water pool is always the best option for a pool. To change to salt water pool, you require a Chlorinator to change the salt into chlorine. Salt water pool is easy to maintain as your chlorinator changes the salt into chlorine while it runs. Pool pump must run for a minimum of 8 hours per day. This is to filter the water and to prevent algae growth. Stil standing water goes green after about 3 days.
