As our selves we have been staying in Townships for years and we have been directly affected by the problems of uncontrolled waste in our communities.
•So over the years we have observed the challenges of waste in our communities and even though Government/ Municipality do have projects that are managing waste but we have discovered that the main problem is within individual households that is why

we see a need to micro manage it in the individual households.

•Our aim is to control waste within our households and making sure that our communities are clean and healthy at the same time we create employment for unemployed youth in our communities.

•In most people are working and they are not available on the day of waste collection on their areas so as a result of that their waste bins become full and smelling and at night they will just find a way to offload them at nearby spot which not meant for dumping waste and papers and plastics from that waste will be blown away by wind and be scattered all over the community.

•Also there has been a high number of waste bins being stolen or vandalized and people who are working is very difficult for them to prevent this from happening as they will take out their waste bins very early in the morning before they go to work and only collect them in the evening when they come back from work between these times, that is when thieves get a chance to steal or strip them because they use them to transport goods.

•By coming up with this initiative will reduce the cases of illegal waste dumping in our communities and stealing/stripping and vandalize of waste bins as our team members will be working in the communities on the day when municipality will be collecting waste.

•We aim to create employment to unemployed youth within our communities especially those that are denied work opportunity because they could not go far with their education or previously disadvantaged.

•In a long run we are targeting to make sure that in each area we are servicing we employ some people from that area especially the youth that grew up in the area and is known by the community and this will help since they are servicing their area it will be easier for them to spot people who are coming to the area for wrong doings and they can report to the community as they will be working with them. We will also assist our members who has their waste bins stolen/Damaged with the process of applying for new waste bins from Municipality Free of charge
