Home Office ready for action!🙌
Recently, I found I needed a bit more space. A space that was mine and not inhabited by Legos or paint jars. We had this big desk that just never really worked, it was too open and too big. Then there was the green cabinet that has been moved from room to room, never really finding it's purpose.
Now, imagine the shock on my husband's face when I told him we (and by we, I meant him) were going to saw this cabinet into 4 pieces! Join them together and create two narrow standing cabinets.😅 The original shelving was also used optimally by sawing one in half and the other one into 4 blocks to use as the inside shelving. The only add on was the long shelf on the top to round it off. I was left with only 4 legs and 2 blocks (from the top of the cabinet).
Then the paintwork began! I used Tjhoko Paint | Chalk Paint in Super Sonette to fit with the rest of my decor and as it is a neutral colour, it fits with everything. Found a set of quirky handles from an old revamp that I cleaned and added them on!
Now, it has a purpose! I am so proud f this project! Thank you to my dear husband for trusting me 🤣❤️.
